Letter to CAA: “This aircraft was originally issued an NC after which time there were numerous changes made including a change of engines from the original Szekley 50 H.P. to a Franklin 65 H.P. The aircraft is being readied for a bonafied air show use and the airworthiness certificate hereby issued in the NX category to permit flight testing. I have personally inspected the changes made by a licensed mechanic and the workmanship visible is good. Form ACA 309 was issued. The owner mentioned that it is his intention to apply for approval of the changes after he puts a little time on the aircraft.”
