“… it was taken in 1931 by Renato Torresan, who was a mechanic working for the Caproni Aeroplani, the Ca-113 was present at the National Air Races that year. Later Mr Torresan came to Peru, got married and lived all his life here (and eventually died here). His son in law, Victor Chiappe, was a friend of mine and he showed me the photo albums around ten years ago and let me to scan all the pictures for the use on my website about the Peruvian Air Force (www.aeronaves.netai.net). Unfortunately, Victor passed away the last year…”
